Radiologists Opportunities FAQ

How does USROC differ from other "nighthawk" and teleradiology providers?
First, with USROC you have complete freedom in selecting the U.S.-based location of your choice. We do not require you to move near a central office on the other side of the world.

Second, USROC is operated for radiologists. USROC is a privately held company not controlled by nonmedical interests on Wall Street or elsewhere. Our highly qualified doctors and dedicated staff develop solid relationships with our clients centered on the shared goal of quality patient care.

Third, USROC provides quality assurance reviews of interpretations, full IT and customer support around the clock, and comprehensive medical liability coverage for all of our radiologists.

Fourth, USROC teleradiology services are comprehensive and allow radiologists to remain at top of the field, maintaining their skills in all modalities, and gaining additional experience in any new imaging development.

Fifth, as  USROC is not limited by our radiologists' locations, USROC has a wider range of highly qualified radiologists from which to draw. USROC is simply enjoyable, rewarding, and quality radiology services without politics. Becoming a USROC’s radiologist is becoming part of a highly successful and well respected team in the radiology field.

What qualifications do I need to become a USROC radiologist?
USROC contracts only with U.S.-trained and board-certified radiologists who reside in the United States. Our staff of professionals handle all the licensing, credentialing and insurance processes required for you to practice in different states.

No. Most radiologists easily adapt to our easy to use systems. Computer/ PACS familiarity would be helpful. We provide 24x7 staff support to keep your equipment running smoothly.

Will working via teleradiology impair my productivity and earning potential?
No. USROC's carefully selected and customized systems break new ground — not just for teleradiology but also in all areas of radiology. Our environment friendly paperless system exceeds the efficiency levels of most major systems over wide area network. A great deal of attention has been paid to workflow and ergonomics in the selection and design of our customized systems.
